HOW I GROW - Understanding Child Development

This first workshop for parents, child care providers and other people who work with young children, explores the five domains of early childhood development and developmental milestones ages birth-5 years.
The DVD "New York Loves Safe Babies" will be shown, which contains information about SIDS, Shaken Baby Syndrome and Traumatic Brain Injury.
Information will include:
*What is typical development?
*What are developmental milestones?
*What to do if you suspect a delay?
*What programs are available to help the family and child?
*A packet of information and resources is provided!
