LEAP is a free after-school program sponsored by Independent Living, Inc. and held in conjunction with the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. The LEAP program serves junior high school students with developmental disabilities from Newburgh and neighboring communities.
Students who are a part of the enrichment program will receive one-on-one assistance from qualified teachers, teacher aides and student mentors. Students will also be involved in an array of activities which will assist them in making a positive transition to high school and subsequently to a successful and happy adult life.
