Information and Referral

Information and referral services at ILI operate as a vital resource hub, providing individuals with comprehensive and up-to-date information on available support services, resources, and opportunities relevant to their specific needs and circumstances. All of our services and supports are delivered with a person-centered approach.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Assessment: We begin by thoroughly assessing the individual’s needs, preferences, and goals. This helps us understand their unique situation and tailor our information and referral services accordingly.
  2. Resource Database: ILI maintains an extensive database of local, state, and national resources related to disability support services, including but not limited to housing, education, employment, healthcare, transportation, and assistive technology.
  3. Personalized Guidance: Our experienced staff members provide personalized guidance and assistance, helping individuals navigate through the array of available resources and make informed decisions that align with their goals.
  4. Referral Coordination: Based on the individual’s needs and preferences, we facilitate connections with appropriate service providers, agencies, or organizations within the community. This includes providing contact information, making introductions, and following up to ensure a seamless transition.
  5. Continuous Support: Information and referral services at ILI are not limited to a one-time interaction. We offer ongoing support and follow-up to ensure that individuals receive the assistance they need and are equipped with the knowledge and resources to navigate future challenges independently.

By offering comprehensive information and referral services, ILI strives to empower individuals with disabilities to access the support and resources necessary to achieve their goals, enhance their quality of life, and thrive as active members of their communities.
