Project Hope Comes to Independent Living

Sometimes it helps to talk to someone you don’t know reads the tagline of NY Project Hope, Independent Living Inc.’s newest program in their vast array of person-centered services. In collaboration with Access: Supports for Living and the Mental Health Association in Orange County, this FEMA-funded COVID support program is administered through the NYS Office of Mental Health and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. It strives to help the residents of Orange County who have been impacted by the COVID pandemic – whether it’s by connecting you to local resources, offering a compassionate ear for anyone who needs to talk, or providing tips on managing stress.  Trained crisis counselors understand the struggles brought about by this unprecedented time, and talking to them is always free, confidential, and anonymous. You can contact us at 845-762-2275 from 9AM to 9PM Monday through Friday and 10AM to 6PM on weekends.
